If you are interested in the grape "America" this is the time to get it. I have an extra supply this year and probably won't have this kind of quantity again. What is "America"?

In addition to the above entry, I'll add that reports have been coming in that America can make a very decent dry red wine, after the fashion of Norton, in some locales. It hasn't been tried enough to find out all of where it works, but with the disease resistance and hardiness of the variety, it's worth testing in a lot of areas where the summers are decently warm, such as Missouri.
