Got a letter from the University of Arkansas a few days ago that said that their grape variety "Saturn" is still patented. That is, the patent was thought to have expired late last year, so there would be no more royalties to pay on it. Then someone recalculated it from the time of filing of the original application and found that the patent doesn't officially expire until November 2007. So please go back to paying royalties on it when you order it. If the order came before the notice reached me, I'll cover the patent fee myself.
I do hope they get it right on the other grapes still in patent, Neptune and Jupiter.
