Sometimes when I get large orders, I have to get additional cuttings from local growers, most of whom got their starts from me in the first place. This year I had an order for more of the French Hybrid grape "Marechal Foch" than I had in my vineyard. I contacted a local organic grower that I've purchased from in the past and ordered cuttings. To my surprise, he brought nearly double what I ordered. He left them with me and said they could be sold on consignment if I wanted.

So right now I have enough extra Marechal Foch on hand to plant about 1 1/2 acres. If you want to plant a grape that not only makes a very decent red wine, is hardy to about -25 F, has very good general disease resistance, and also has excellent fresh juice, this is your opportunity. Head to http://www.bunchgrapes.com and place an order. There's a photo of it, as well, linked to the listing of the variety.
